Had this at a 7 course Cento Pasta Pop up that consisted of various dishes consisting of beet , Uni to lamb pastas. The popup was at Simbal a Vietnamese restaurant which as devoid of Italians but this Lone Siciilian was up for the challenge. bold but not overly fruity with just the right amount of acid to keep things interesting throughout the meal. For $20 in the streets, I'd certainly purchase it again!

Dec 11th, 2017Full bodied, Nero d Avola, bright cherry, vanilla (oak), raspberries on the nose. Strong tannins with pleasant firmness. Bright acidity mixed with full bodied character on the palate. Sun, southern Italian, full bodied - enjoyable.
