2003 Roagna Paje Barbaresco.. if you like mature, Italian wines, this one is for you! Major barnyard/cow manure notes, incense, leather, very low profile dark fruit flavors .. my wife hates it 😂🤣! I quite like it

UPDATE 10/26. I finally opened a bottle that was not turned and in fact was delicious. Classic tar, rose, dark cherry flavors with barnyard, incense and even dark chocolate in the mix. Raised rating significantly based on what could have been. I have had four of the 2003s in 375 since 2020 and they’ve been a mix of mildly pruny to fully turned (the latest, 10/24). Whether it was poor provenance before the store I purchased it from or Brett, it’s one of the worst back vintage purchases I’ve made.
