Deep brick. Nose is fully mature with the aromas of berries buckling under the weight of time. Tannins are still here, though silky and fine. I'm not sure folks still make wines like this in Napa.

Drinking perfectly, lots of clove and cedar. Tobacco, ripe red fruit.

Fruity! Drank after the 1998 and the 99 is definitely on the fruitier side. Nose of Cedar, tobacco, and blackberry jam! Fantastic at $35!
