It's a good wine but feel it doesn't commend the $125 I paid. Definitely fruity but was hoping for more zing. This one doesn't need to be decanted for long. Save your money. — 8 years ago
Past it's prime but drinkable. No finish. Cheese and green pepper on the nose. Heck it's 37 years old... — 8 years ago
Leather, smoke, blackberry's. Tannins have mellowed out. Really enjoying it. — 7 years ago
Definitely balanced. Good structure with a little bit of spice. Very drinkable but at its peak. 14 sec finish, expected longer than that. — 7 years ago
Nope. Was forced to try. Avoid..../ — 8 years ago
The 1998 is like a white unicorn. Some people don't think it exists but it does and its gooood. Very spicy, like peppered beef. Full bodied with a chewy finish. Glad I found it. — 8 years ago
Horrible! Brett took this one over. Cork crumbled upon opening as well. Avoid — 7 years ago
This wine is READY. So good. Smells like Carmel and maple syrup. I'm really enjoying this one. — 8 years ago
37 years and still kicking. Green peppers galore. Finish is light but that's it's age. I enjoyed this one. — 8 years ago

Highly acidic with cherries on the sniffy sniff. Mildly tannic and may improve with 5 more years of cellaring. The acid needs to be tamed. Medium finish. — 7 years ago
