Sampled 3/2018 at ProWein (Germany).

Big aromas of blackberries, and cherries. Opens up after an hour into a big classy Napa Cabernet. Excellent.

Very nice wine, perfect balance of ripe fruit, tannin, and acid. Not as intense as other Napa Cabernets, it was very smooth.

It’s a very good thing when you expect greatness and you get it. Dark ruby in the glass with long, beautiful legs. Big nose of chocolate cake, cherries, licorice, and leather. This is such a sexy wine. Elegant, sophisticated, and lush. Full bodied with more than enough complexity to keep you coming back. Ripe fruits and and cigar box present initially on the palate. Let her breathe a little and you’ll get the wonderful tobacco, oak, grilled meats, and more of that Old World leather. Long finish with spice and herbs. I love this wine. Napa in a bottle.

This is super tasty and smooth. Paired really well with beef rib while in Napa. Definitely could age a few more years.
