Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

Solid Howell Mountain Cab. Nice balance, excellent fruit and integrated tannins. Drinking really well now but should continue to evolve for a few more years.

Bright med/dark garnet, nose is black cherries and some plumb. Secondary, cedar and hint of spice. On palate, black cherries! Structured so well, so smooth really love the mouthfeel. Great balance of acidity and tannin. Long finish, but keep wanting to taste more.

This wine tasted like it was past its prime or maybe didn't age super well - primary fruit starting to fade but still a bit of harshness to the tannin

Great aroma. Good body. Complex tastes paired well with steaks on the grill.
