Almost hate to say it...but this wine was better than good. It was exceptional. Fat red fruit leaned out with laser focus and demanded air. Upon opening, this thing ran wild like a bronco. Oriental spice, pomegranate, a kiss of clove. You could do much worse in California...

Breaking with the Champagne tradition, but tomorrow is the annual vintage tasting dinner in NYC :). This one is nice and well-rounded. Drinking well
