Grandfather signed a bottle. We thought it funny a few years back. Now I love seeing his signature in my cellar. The wine is lovely, still has a couple years left. Soft and delicate rose petal nose with subtle fruit. Don't decant, drink quick.

Had two bottles with dinner this evening. Both were smooth and flavorful. Surprised that no decanting was needed for a wine of this age. Wonderful surprise.

Didn't think the test of time would be kind to this gentle soul, but it blossomed and the menthol, the smallest amount of fruit made it magical!!! 1973
