Less extracted than other vintages, perhaps that is due to the rainy growing season and plumper berries but this did not yield dilute wines. In fact I preferred this wine to the more extracted wines next to this. Higher tones with Boysenberry, red and black cassis and rose petals... Still young by my standards but incredible now. Of course the cork was perfect and storage was great. It's at that age where there will be more bottle variation due to corks and storage etc... Lovely wine.

Starting to drop off a bit but very close to peak. Great aroma and flavours of tobacco, leather, and savoury soy like flavours as well. All in all another great mondavi reserve
