RM To Kalon Vertical, 2014.

Seems to be going through some changes from last Btl.

Lush black fruits with cedar, vanilla, tobacco leaf, and allspice, laced with graphite minerality. A bit tight and green on the palate, probably due to insufficient aerating time, but the tension, acidity, texture are in harmony. Silky tannins firmed up a bit at the end.
This will be great in 5 years!

pure Napa joy. This has some legendary MacDonald To Kalon fruit in it (5-20%).

Lovely, the word that comes to mind is elegant. It feels like it’s in a dumb period though. The fruit is hiding even after long decant. Will check tomorrow.

This was really good. Especially after it opens up
