1995 vintage...blissful. The fruit Rockford use for this wine is truly something to behold. Only 14% alcohol this is a masterclass in the limitless prospects of Barossa Shiraz as far as pedigree and ageing potential are concerned. What really commanded my attention the whole time I was drinking this wine was the serious vanilla undertone that gave the wine a smooth texture that was quite simply awe-inspiring. Black current and Christmas cake...you know the deal, believe the hype.
