Rombauer Vineyards
El Dorado Zinfandel
Sleek and soft, fresh cherry and raspberry on the nose. Has a sweet element on the mid palate-relaxed tannins with balanced acidity. Lush mouthfeel throughout, same raspberries show as well as a dash of spice. One dimensional finish, of black fruit. Pair nicely with grilled brisket burgers.

Oct 15th, 2016We love this Zinfandel! As of May 2016, it's our favorite Zin! Big and full-bodied, loads of oak. Smokey, dense wine, and spicy. Had a strong, dry middle range allowing it to stand up to red meat really nicely! Just a touch of funk that Peter likes. Not too sweet. Very high alcohol!! Almost port!
