Very tight and acidic after decanting for one and two hours. Left it 12 hours, and it opened up nicely with strong notes of cherry. More subtle rose and leather, with a hint of tar.

Not normally a fan of Italian reds but tried to diversify. Strong dark cherry start and had a hard edge. Probably wouldn’t buy again.
