Fruit dominated nose, maybe some oak too. At 12 yrs it's still dominated by primary fruit flavors, syrupy cherry and maybe some blueberry, with good structure. A nice concentrated wine but not amazing.

One fourth each grenache, cabernet and carignan, with the remainder syrah and merlot. Nice balance of fruit and tannins, medium mouth feel. Hard to beat this for $20.

Awesome blend. Interesting nose with hints of coconut, tobacco and traditional port. Black and blue fruits with some coffee and even chocolate flavors.

Nose of strong menthol and alcohol, dressed with chocolate, dried plum, dried dates kind of sweetness. Taste of sweet dried fruit, dried figs. Low acidity and mellow tannins. Aftertaste is lingering with dried fruit, woody, and smoky taste. Complex sweetness makes it a nice experience.
