Feb 4th, 2021This os surprisingly DYNAMITE!!! Blueberry, blackcherry, ripe...nose is leather, campfire, leftover bacon, smoky with an amazing aftertaste. Different than a Northern Rhone as it has a little more alcohol, little more ripe...but damn, the aromatics...i crave it...

Feb 15th, 2019Could almost give this a 10 just for aromatics. The high pH issue you always hear about with the Rocks district does make this seems a little soft on the palate, but plenty of drinkers will dig that.

If there were some magical continuum of wine, this is immediately to the left of hyper extracted Pinot Noir. I don't know that it would be accurate to call it a Pinot-lovers Syrah, but I'll go with that anyway.
