Ruinart wine dinner. Many different vintages which gave us a real sense of the house style. This maker produces reduced, linear, acidic wines based on Chardonnay. Green apple, white flowers, pastry, mineral, some reminded of Chablis. The vintage reds were stunning, Burgundian wines. This one was clean, vibrant, crisp, with some age. 2004 will be special.
