Round and smooth on the palate with largely resolved tannins, this has a still-bright palate of dried berries and a little plum with tobacco and dried leaves. Very vibrant, and a nice example of what old school Napa can do at 30 years. This was a reserve bottling with extended wood aging and it shows a touch modern because of it but still a really nice wine.
