A really nice Carneros Pinot Noir. Excellent nose of raspberries, plums and freshly tilled soil. Lots of red and blue fruit on the palate with luscious acidity and faint tannins. One of the Pinot Noir pioneers in Napa. Very enjoyable.

I feel like we should have opened this a bit sooner. Nose was higher in alcohol than
the typical round, lush, fruity Pinots from Saintsbury. Also (sadly) fell a bit flat on the palate.
