Classic Barossa. Shiny oak, slight chocolate on the back palate with ripe dark plums on the front. Pretentious, moi?! The acid sticks out a little for me, but still beautiful for a pop and pour.

I am not a big fan of these wines,
But this one was absolutely great
It comes from a benchmark vintage, but never give anything for granted mate
It had a fantastic complexity with a distinctive licorice that blew my mind away
Very intense very persistent very elegant and fresh too
I want more✌️

Shouldn't have shown this much body at this age, but I'm so glad it held on. Yum.
