I really wanted to like it. But it seemed “flat”. Maybe past its prime. Didn’t have much structure.

Man, this is a powerhouse. Can’t believe it had 14 year so far age because it still packs a punch, and is very dense and tannic. Leather, cigar box, cherry compote. Very interesting that they don’t harvest til mid-November, probably explains the concentration!

Tannic volcano, this needs air and a lot of breathing time but it’s enjoyable!!!

2007 is one of my favorite years. Smooth but with energy. Deep, ruby delicious

Wow a wonderful full bodied wine with expressive fruit and a long finish. Going to search this one out to buy.
