When first open, I thought it wasn’t going to show up. Then 30 minutes in it bloomed into drying ripe fruit and flower with a tertiary stemmy underbrush. These wines are built to last.

Dull ruby with slight violet rim. Sweaty horse, subtle green tea, very complex nose, very subtle fig and lava rock. Subtle entrance, developing onto blackberry and black licorice flavors. Very good length. Certain malty flare. Overripe cherries. Subtle five spice and chinese ink. Complex and difficult to interpret wine that comes with a very high score, but gets 88 pts from me.
