Steely, mineral driven, some apple, lemon zest, a nice long finish. — 2 years ago
Lemon peel, mineral air, lemon oil, the sea.
Oyster shell, subtle lemon oil, minerality.
Very elegant style. Martini-like mouthfeel and texture.
Really lovely expression of Chardonnay especially in stark contrast to California style chards from Sandhi and Matthiasson. Wow, Chablis. I love Chablis. — 15 days ago
Complex Chardonnay. A blend of minerality, sea air, and mild tropical fruits. Very interesting and enjoyable! — 7 months ago
Wow! Totally reduced at first this 2019 was singing after some 20 minutes. Honey and almond blossom, lemon peel, nice discrete oak and Burgundy acidity. Made my Friday better, which is a great compliment from where I am sitting. Thank you out there — 3 months ago
Light gold, citrus notes are strong and the finish is pleasant — 4 months ago
@Delectablewine This is RPWC’s Romance Chardonnay. Made from the first vintage of new plantings at Domaine de la Cote. In the Sandhi style. Light in color. Intensely lemon/lime, wet limestone, sea air. Assertive acid, especially up front, but balanced with a nice creamy roundness. — 3 years ago

Doing a Chardonnay flight!
Slightly more heat. From the nose, I predict more fruit flavors. Heavy lemon. More white flowers. A bit of that buttery/creaminess.
Oh yeah. That’s the stuff. A side by side comparison of Matthiasson and Sandhu is v interesting and a lesson in winemaking and different climates of Napa and Santa Rita Hills.
A bit of mako but not a ton to help lower the acidity. More primary fruit characteristics. Lemon. White flowers. Slight butter. And actually a bit leafiness, which I love. — 16 days ago
