Extremely surprised by the 15 year old budget Syrah! Dark ruby with loads of blackberry, black cherry, pepper and Provençal herbs. Dried black cherry, blackstrap molasses, leather, tobacco and ripe plum round out the palate. The finish is long and vibrant with subtle oak and fine tannins. One of the better 15yo wines I have pulled in some time!
