Poured into a decanter about two hours prior to service and served slightly chilled. The 2025 Lodi Rosé pours a Nantucket red color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Bing cherry, fresh green herbs, pink peppercorn, lemon and dry earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, silky and zippy. One of the best Rosé’s from the States that I’ve had. Drink now with patience through 2035.
