Toscana IGT Sangiovese

My favorite table wine for 14yrs.

Medium-bodied Tuscan red with fine tannin, dried fruit and spice, at Roberto’s in Ogunquit

This was a very good wine. Nice surprise.

Barnyard/rot must on the nose, but mellows into well-balanced and drinkable as it opens. Dark fruit.

A spicy red. 12.5% very delicious

Notes of dried fruit, specifically cherries. Slightly spicy aftertaste, with a sweet finish. Medium body.

2014 enjoyed on Oct. 11th with chicken and mushroom & prosciutto. Very nice cherry fruit, well balanced and great lingering finish. Very good value!

Not much legs but still smooth
