You will never taste a better Cab for under $15. Some people rate wines low because of their price. I would confidently place this in a blind tasting with California Cabs $30+

Give it a chance to breathe and it's very drinkable, especially with food. Otherwise, a bit bland for a cab with a lemony finish.
