Red fruit, bramble, pink peppercorn and red candy. Remarkably fresh.

Elite. Both a benchmark wine and Unique for being elegant and fine boned. When first p&p was all about darker cherry fruits and olive notes. After 2 hr evolved into something entirely different. Lavender, strawberry, wild red and purple berries
Framed by exotic wood spice notes, Sichuan peppercorn and other exotic Asian spices

Full bodied, but with some angles and without the flamboyant smooth softness of many Cali cabs. Finishes with refreshing acidity and excellent structure despite resolved tannins. Still very primary and fresh; this is likely starting a very very long evolution

Enjoyed @ sovana bistro. Paired with a strip steak, twice baked potato and Brussels sprouts. More balanced than the Ramey - red berry, plum, not over powering tannis on the back
