A nice wine that seems a bit shut down on the nose but exuberant on the palate. Nose has plum, aged cigar tobacco, and a light floral aspect. Fruit forward jamminess plus spice, damp earth, toast, and coffee lead to a pleasant, medium finish. Tannins are sweet and strong but well integrated.
