Intense and fruity. Tangy blackcurrant and a bit jammy but good fruit.

Everything a cult Cabernet should be. Very high quality yet integrated new oak, ultra-ripe and silky tannin, mouth-coating and voluptuous fruit, layered, and very lengthy. Seamless from attack to finish. The richness evident on front, mid, and back palate. showing some muscles under its fine velvet profile, very gorgeous. Aromatically not the most compelling with its high alcohol and elevated VA, all palate here though. However beneath the noise is some beautiful oak, exotic spices, and floral notes, still very complex just lacking a touch of detail. ‘Murica

My first Scarecrow. Only had a glass, but that was enough for me to feel good about staying on the waitlist. Powerful and concentrated blackberry-rhubarb slide down the middle of the palate with teeth and cheek staining tannins that highlight the cedar nose and blueberry sweet finish.

Scarecrow needs no introduction. This was still incredibly tannic but it was obvious what a beauty it will become. Needed a very long decant (which it didn't get), but the potential here is amazing.

Elegant & plush. Beautiful dark fruits. Cabernet shines like a star in #rutherford

Youthful, ripe and delicious. Amazingly unevolved for a 10 yr old wine. Kirsch, soft integrated tannins, fine balance and length. While obviously ripe at 15.4%, alcohol is not obvious nor is the wine hot.

Delicious, structured, balanced, from old vines in large part. Possibly my favorite Napa Cab.

Rich and powerful and deserving much better than the burgers we ate with it. That said, it was simply sublime.
