Red currant forward, dark and graphite-y with a little tarragon in the background. Acid mellows a bit after an hour, but still quite present.

Very high toned and bordering on being overripe on the front palate. Tones down on the lingering finish that goes on for quite a while. Slight tannins provide just enough structure. Alcohol comes in at 15.2 percent and wouldn't be surprised if it's truly a bit higher. Interesting but would like a little more balance.
