Popped and poured. This is actually 86% Chardonnay with Pinot Noir making up the balance. Despite the same 8-year tirage as the “Noirs”, this comes across quite a bit fresher with less of the funky oxidative notes and more of the richer, rounded fruit. White peach, lemon meringue, brioche and minerals. Very nice indeed.
