Medium ruby , quite wide pink rim . Quite exuberant nose , blueberry , raspberry , touch herbal and mineral . On the palate quite smoky notes , and light raspberry fruits , pretty fresh acidity and slightly drying tannins , hints of tar and slate at the end . Quite fresh and interesting , though just misses a bit of length . After a while the tannins become less aggressive and it does seem to fill out more on the palate . Drink over the next 5-8 years .
