Among my favorite Chardonnays now, this wine could work well as a cocktail wine but excelled in support of a whole smoked turkey with whole wheat bread and chopped kale salad with cranberries, sunflower seeds, and poppy seed dressing.

I'm not a fan of oaky Chards, but this wine was a very pleasant surprise. It came across as off-dry, with peach notes. The wine had the buttery Chard flavor without in-your-face oak.
