Surprised at how well this is holding up! Cocoa dusted dates, old graham cracker, roasted cranberry aromatics; very little acidity but structure is very much in tact; clay covered blackberry finish.

Really interesting to drink this one at 16 years old. And although I think this was on the back side of the hill, it was still very much in the game. Lost lots of its sweet fruit cham. More linear. Mulberry and some fig and clove. Can definitely taste the age. If cellared well, I actually think this has a couple of years but I don't think it has more than that.

Bought this for $76 in 2006, now is worth $200
Opened in 2018, new year's eve. The wain showed beautiful balance of fruits, cherry, light touch of tannins, lovely finish. We deantered it and the wine was ready to drink in 15 min. Very good wine.
