I love Seavey Cabs; this is a good (but not a great) one. Deep purple color and an excellent bouquet. Juicy and intense. I taste a lot of boysenberry, blackberry, meat, tobacco, and pepper (a tad too much pepper for my taste) with a long finish. I fear it is slightly passed its prime, but it tastes much better after several hours of decanting.

Jan 14th, 2023Moderate ruby with aromas of sweet tobacco, black cherry liqueur, cedar, and hints of green pepper. Medium bodied with red fruit profile, 14.5% alcohol, and resolved tannins. Blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot which drinks more like a Bordeaux. One of my favorite ‘11’s from Napa.
