Pours ruby in color. Aromas of raspberry and BBQ. pepper and baking spices in flavor with an initial alcohol sensation. finished very smoothly. Medium body with a medium to long finish.

Seghesio Sonoma "Angela's Table" zinfandel 2012.

Dark ruby with slight purple highlights. The nose jumps out with red and black fruits that are jammy without being sweet, and a lot more savory herbs than I'm used to having in a zin.

The tannins on the palate are mild and slightly chewy, with more black than red fruit and a slight peppery-ness. It's a delicious zinfandel that doesn't overwhelm.

Fruity, high alcohol, tight; should be more elegant in a few years.

Clean, pop of raspberry, nice spice. Pleasant mouth, though finishes a touch hot.
