Super floral, though a little warm on the nose. Concentrated dark fruit, bit of black leather, the lightest thread of oyster shell. Main plot is concentrated violet shrub and black currant. Still tightly wound at ten years old. Benefitted from an hour in the decanter.

Delicious. Opened 45 mins before serving at 17c. Opened up nicely and drew out the flavors of a Christmas roast. Nice dark cherry finish over leather. 2009 vintage.
