Berries. Red ripe berries of various sorts on the nose. Pretty fresh with some herb. Flavor is savory and interesting. Made in a lighter, softer style than many other Petit Verdots. Has some tart cranberry and bitter bite of pie/choke cherry. A unexpected wine, with interesting flavors, but lacks humph.
