From half bottle. In the last few weeks I have had the 2014, the 2015 (my cellar) and the stunning 2019 at the cellar door a few days ago. This 2018 covers the house style of sulphidic struck match notes. Somewhat lacking in fruit although there are ripe citrus notes. Needs a few years to show its best - refreshing citric acid to finish off.

#chardonnay#adelaidehills#australia when I first tasted this wine blind in a lineup of other Chardonnays from around the world it didn’t seem that great but now, Tasting it on its own without comparisons it is quite delicious and very elegant.

Great expression with a taste profile that is somewhere in between Cali and burgundy, not as buttery as a traditional Napa chard but with good minerality and acidity like a Franch wine!
