2011, not a good year for Cabernets in the Barossa, ok in McLaren Vale but the Shiraz's excelled. Not the best year but good quality. Dark cassis, blackberries, expresso, dark cherries, full tannins...sticky, fine & dark, black plum, whispers of blue fruits, rhubarb, dry cranberries, caramel, light vanilla, soft warm spices, soft leather, crushed rocks, dry red florals, nice acidity and a finish that is simultaneously ripe and dry.

This is a profound wine, with lots of oak and alcohol. Full-bodied, with a beautiful nose, and a long finish. After 7 years, drinks as if it was bottled yesterday. One of the greatest values I’ve seen/tasted.
