Superb malbec blend from Argentina. One of my favorites. Very impressive, full-bodied, still elegant, and with a long finish. This wine is the full package. A great example of how beautiful Argentine wines can be, and how well cabernet sauvignon complements malbec, by making it more round and refined. — 7 years ago
Terrific value on this cab/malbec blend that ages very well. I drank my last 2005 in 2017, and a 2008 in 2018, and if you leave it opened for over an hour and decant it, very fee people will guess you paid around $15 for this wine. Every bottle I open is a gratifying surprise and, since I’m running out, I will get a new case and hide it for a few years!
It is medium bodied, elegant, easy to drink. — 7 years ago
Love the finesse and strength of this wine. It blew my mind. Super silky, with an extremely long finish. Feels less fruit forward than other Aubert SV. I became a true fan of Aubert, both chards and pinots are amazing! — 7 years ago
This is a profound wine, with lots of oak and alcohol. Full-bodied, with a beautiful nose, and a long finish. After 7 years, drinks as if it was bottled yesterday. One of the greatest values I’ve seen/tasted. — 7 years ago

You open this wine, and let it breathe, after 13 years, and realized why M. Rolland is who he is. Very, very elegant, with layered notes that start opening and affirming as time goes by. Does not need to be overpowering to make a statement. Stands on its own. A great wine to collect and store! — 7 years ago

Great amarone. Classic, but a modernized version. Super complex, and multi-layered. Does not feel so overpowering, as some other amarone. It drank easier, without sacrificing the body. — 6 years ago
