Clear, pale ruby in color. On the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary aromas of candied strawberries, hibiscus, and black tea. On the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and medium intensity primary flavors of cherry, pomegranate, and tar with a short finish. This wine is complex but a little bitter for my tastes, and it's lacking the fruit intensity to support the high alcohol and acidity. Overall, I would rate this wine as acceptable.
