3L! Hands down the best 84 Alex I’ve had. Soft, bright, very focused. Always spectacular when the American Oak finds its subtle, lingering home at 30+ years.

Great old favorite that did not disappoint. Fabulous with steak dinner and equally good after dinner with some dark chocolates. 1984 vintage was a gift from daughter's boyfriend.

Alexander Valley 1984. Brown brick red, still enough tannin for another 5-10 yrs. Beautiful cedary dust and fruit. Needed 1 - 1 1/2 hrs to open up. Harmonious, medium build.
