Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

96' Silver Oak Napa . These always age so well when properly cellared. Nice wine.

And the night just took a turn.

Still awesome.

1996 Vintage still acting young. Closed at first, still getting better three hours later. Bright ruby with no bricking edge. Massive dark fruit flavors, tar, leather, cassis, some herbal notes. Surprisingly bold for 22 yrs old.

Deep purple. Blueberry, marzipan, full-bodied.

'96 vintage; was worried about this one, but my concerns proved to be unwarranted! Great tasting, full bodied CA Cab as expected.
