2022/10. This was a bit wilder than I’m used to for this wine - perhaps a bit reduced as well. It was probably just young as it improved with air but ideally needs a couple of years.

2024/7/7-9. This is a tricky one. I’ve adored Bize’s wines for years, but this was the first time I remember a wine being this overtly “natural” - in this case, it’s the tart plum, slightly volatile style. Brambly berry fruit peeks out here and there, but I can help feeling this is a case of the winemaking creating sameness.
