If you had told me this was Malbec, I’d say maybe. If you had said this was a Malbec from Lodi I don’t think I’d believe you.
I would have expected a darker garnet hue, big fruit bomb aromatics, higher alcohol, and some acidity. Instead we have a medium bodied, low acidic, cherry and plum centered wine. Some green notes, almost under ripened. Not much finish. It’s fine.
