Grenache is not my thang, even it it hails from SQN. But still impressive, with a lithe, smooth approach and finish.

Generously shared by a new friend. Drank alongside 2013 Scarecrow. Definitely held its own. First SQN. Freaking love Grenache

My first SQN. Lots of rich black fruit, liqueur and spice. Showed fairly young and improved with air. This was a big, ripe wine but not as completely over the top as I feared it might be. Good stuff 👌 (but poor QPR for what I paid on the secondary market 💸)

Intense dark Ruby color. Opulent nose of candied red fruit, cinnamon and strong oak. Full body, long finish. Lively, but I prefer their Syrah.

Very dark and deep color. A lot of funk on the nose initially that blew off after a bit. Dark cherries, red currant and some candied licorice, with hints of vanilla. Full body, long finish. This needed a big decant.
