I liked this more than my wife. Powerful Cinnamon and clove aromas. Dark fruit, cloves, cinnamon, and tobacco flavors. Even at 11 years old the tannins are still very prominent. Needs alot more time.

Excellent drinking right now. Big but balanced. Apples, cocoa, herbs, lovely.

Color of purple mixed with ruby. Nose is really plummy at first, then oaky, crayon, dried strawberry, and raisin. Taste is nice with sweet milk chocolate note mixed with plum and strawberry, oak, and, aldehyde, a touch of zest, and a bit of dark fruit. Aftertaste is medium long with some tannins and similar notes from taste. However, she is slightly over peaked. Her backbone has started fading away with a bit watery sensation. Open her now.

Dec 17th, 2018Really nice cab. Nose of fruit and oak. Palate is very complex with dark fruits, herbs, mint, good acidity, and long finish. Obviously new world and tastes similar of place like most good Washington Bordeaux blends I’ve had.
