Poured dark garnet, needs at least an hour decanted before drinking. A passable wine not amazing but pleasant and drinkable.

Popped and poured. After being under the weather for a few days it's nice to smell again, and what hits me is all manner of cherry: cherry wood, cherry pie, but mercifully not cherry nyquil. Medium body, a little thinner than I expected considering there is a bit of alcoholic heat I suspect will dissipate on its own given a few years in the bottle or a few hours in a decanter. Moderate but not overpowering tannins. Nothing transcendent, but no complaints. It's good to have wine again.
