Mar 13th, 2021Very fruity nose with cherry, hay and an earthy thing. Typical pinot nose on the fruit side. The palate is very smooth and fruity, a big bright cherry note shines throughout the whole palate, there is a nice matter and a good acid drive, a little bit of drying tannins in mid palate to give anothet layer and a rather long finish with that fruit note, this dry effect on the tongue and in the rear of the mouth, and a tiny bit of heat. A simple Pinot, not too different from the basic ones you can find in Sancerre, i.e. A good, different take on this varietals which I come to like more and more.
